 Analgesic

An analgesic is defined as a compound that binds with a number of closely related, specific receptors in the central nervous system to block the perception of pain. A number of essential oils have analgesic properties.

Recommendation : 


Application and Usage : 

Inhalation 

  • Diffuse your choice of oils for 1/2 hour every 4-6 hours or as desired.
  • Applying a single drop under the nose is helpful and refreshing.
  • Put 2-3 drops of your chosen oils in your hands and rub them together, cup your hands over your nose, and in hale throughout the day as needed.
  • Put 8 -10 drops of oils on a cotton ball or tissue and put it in air vent in your house, vehicle, hotel room etc
  • If diffusing while sleeping, set your timer for the desired length of time for automatic shut off
Topical

You may apply single oils or blends neat or diluted, depending on oil or oils being used.
  • Mix equal parts of Wintergreen, Spruce and Black Pepper with V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex.
  • You may also apply 2-3 drops on the Vita-F;ex liver point of the right foot
